How to Get your P Licence ??

Option 1: V.O.R.T Vehicle on Road Test

1. For experienced, confident Learners 8 to 12 mths driving, 50 to 70 hours completed
2. recommended 6 to 8 hrs professional driving lessons
3. 90% pass rate min of 3 manoeuvres completed correctly
4. Pro`s : shorter time frame ,maybe cost effective
5. Con`s : Low pass rate.Must wait 2 week to re-attempt Test.

Option 2: C.B.T. Competency Based Training

1. For new or first time drivers
2. 12 to 15hrs professional driving lessons ( average )
3. Pro`s: no pressure to pass ,work at your own pace
4. Pro`s: thorough traffic management awareness skills, and country drive(at higher speeds)
5. Pro`s: 80% pass rate no manoeuvres (completed prior to driving assesment)
6. Pro`s A second chance!! is given that same day, should you fail your 1st attempt !!!
7. Con`s can be quiet expensive,if no support is given by family members or friends!!

Please note: 6mths on learner`s permit 50 hrs driving must be completed , a pass from
option 1 or option 2 before P1 licence...PLease note !!! learners Permits gained after 04/09/10 new rules apply 12mths on learner`s Permit, 75 hrs must be completted (parent`s support is crucial)
